Saint of the Day
St. Polycarp
A disciple of the apostle John, Polycarp became bishop of Smyrna and a living link to the first generation of Christians. Arrested as an old man and told to deny Christ to save his life, he refused and went to his death in peace. He is one of the earliest martyrs whose story we still have. His witness bridged the apostles and the early Church.
“Eighty-six years I have served him, and he has done me no wrong. How can I blaspheme my King who saved me?”

First Time?
You're welcome here.
Here are a few things we tell everyone before their first Sunday, so nothing feels unfamiliar.
- Can I receive Communion?
- Holy Communion is for Catholics in a state of grace who are prepared to receive it, but you are welcome to come forward with your arms crossed for a blessing, or simply stay in your pew and pray with us.
- How do I become Catholic?
- The first step towards becoming a Catholic starts with a meeting with our priest. Please call the front office or go in person to schedule a meeting.
- What should I wear?
- There is no strict dress code for attending Mass, but we encourage you to dress respectfully, as the Holy Mass is a time of sacred worship.
- I'm bringing kids.
- Please do. Little ones are always welcome. The Kenny Room, located to the right of the main entrance, is available if you fear that they will be disruptive.
