Saint of the Day
St. Stephen
Chosen as one of the first deacons to serve the widows and the poor, Stephen preached Christ with such power that he was dragged out and stoned. As he died he asked God to forgive his killers, echoing Jesus on the cross. Among those watching was a young man named Saul, the future St. Paul. Stephen is honored as the first martyr.
“Lord, do not hold this sin against them.”

First Time?
You're welcome here.
Here are a few things we tell everyone before their first Sunday, so nothing feels unfamiliar.
- Can I receive Communion?
- Holy Communion is for Catholics in a state of grace who are prepared to receive it, but you are welcome to come forward with your arms crossed for a blessing, or simply stay in your pew and pray with us.
- How do I become Catholic?
- The first step towards becoming a Catholic starts with a meeting with our priest. Please call the front office or go in person to schedule a meeting.
- What should I wear?
- There is no strict dress code for attending Mass, but we encourage you to dress respectfully, as the Holy Mass is a time of sacred worship.
- I'm bringing kids.
- Please do. Little ones are always welcome. The Kenny Room, located to the right of the main entrance, is available if you fear that they will be disruptive.
